Great Wok

This was my go to for 15 years. First, Miss Lisa owned it and it was the best in S. Florida. Like NYC Chinese. Then new owners bought it. It went from 5-stars to 3.5 – 4 stars. Now, it’s yet another owner since Nov. 2025. Same owner as Kingsburg on Military. That used to be great but since before Thanksgiving, it plummeted. I had no idea about the new ownership of Great Wok. Well guess what? Now it’s 1-Star at best. I’m down to only getting soup because I’m getting tons of dental work weekly. The food is horrible. I tried twice. First off: it’s nothing like the prior two owners…not only the quality but the dishes themselves are totally different!! I suggest you ask them to tell you what vegetables and sauce the dish has because I am not kidding when I say: it’s not like Kingsburg and abs

This was my go to place for more than 20 years but lately the food is terrible and the service even worse. Orders used to arrive super fresh and hot and in 20-25 minutes tops being I’m only a mile away. Lately waiting over an hour upwards to 2 hours and after being on hold 15 minutes being told would be quicker if I pick up. (After prepaying tip and delivery fee) Arrive and food ice cold on counter, thrown in a box leaking. The girl behind counter super rude. I expect better for being a long time regular customer spending on average $75.00 + for a couple of combo meals and appetizer.

Great Wok??? There is Nothing Great about this place. I'm new in town and I want to eat some good Chinese. Wow, was I wrong. This place is a shame. I ordered Szechuan chicken, sour soup, eggroll, and fried rice. There was more flavor in the napkins than in the food. The vegetables weren't even cooked. I was eating raw vegetables. I don't know what they think they're serving but it's undoubtedly not Chinese food, more like non-Chinese food, no flavor, no meat nothing. I just ate air. It spent $15 on the worst meal I've had in Boynton Beach.

Obviously a franchise which only offers takeout and delivery. Nice menu and very reasonable prices. Always trying new Chinese restaurants for takeout. I ordered the Szechuan Pork combination dinner. Nice portion with red and green peepers, celery, snow peas, and onions. Good flavors but not spicy. Comes with fried rice , egg roll, and choice of soup.

I’m searching for great Chinese Food. I tried Great Wok. There are a few tables to eat but mostly for take out. Food was good but too much liquid. Pork Fried Rice was ok but very little to no pork. Soup was good, egg roll was good. I’m going to try every one to find something like NY.
