Great Steak

We visited this mall yesterday, and I ordered a gyro. They use a special type of meat specifically for gyros, and the taste was a bit unexpected for me — I thought it would just be regular beef. The cook personally came over to ask how I liked the food, and when he realized it wasn’t quite to my taste, he kindly remade the sandwich using ingredients I was more comfortable with. I really appreciated the attention and care. Excellent customer service! 🙌

Not a bad cheesesteak at all and this past August marked the first time in maybe 3 years having one here. Obvious competition with the likes of Charley's, Great Steak makes a decent cheesesteak if not a bit pricy. Even before the COVID hit along with the unnecessary inflation and minimum wage hike, always thought GS was a bit up there in price. I was starving' at the time so the cheesesteak and Philly fries hit the spot. I rarely see these around anymore but certainly hope for continued boomin' business for the owner(s).

Food was tasty. Service was really good. The reason for the lower rating is a combo - chicken cheeses teak woth fries and drink cost me $25.00. That way too expensive.

Got the Philly deluxe, "Philly cheese " was sadly just liquid nacho cheese with that plastic taste, fries had that starchy taste from not being fried long enough. Was disappointing I've eaten at bunch of the locations this was no way like the rest .The young guy taking the order was super nice , called everyone including me" boss " Atmosphere not their fault its pleasant prairie location .Didnt notice any Halloween decorations though in the common area .

Come to this location for your cheese steak the food is great and the customer service is even better, good food and good vibes come see for yourself try everything on the menu and come back if you can.
