Great South Bay Coffee

I came across Great South Bay Coffee while doing a Google search and I’m so glad I did! I made it in just before they closed ahead of the snowstorm and had such a great first experience. I chatted with who I believe was Rick, the owner, and he was incredibly welcoming. When I mentioned it was my first time, he generously let me sample the French hot chocolate — which was perfect for such a cold day (I ended up getting one for my girlfriend). He also had me try a few of the house-made syrups, and the green cardamom was the clear winner — absolutely delicious in my iced latte. We were even treated to complimentary Biscoff cookies, which was such a thoughtful touch. Cute spot, friendly service, and great drinks. I’ll definitely be back!

Allow me to start off by saying what a great owner. I could sit there and talk to him for days. He is so knowledgeable about coffee and really made the whole experience painless and awesome. His menu is extensive and honestly so much cheaper than Starbucks. He hand makes all of his own syrups it is just such high quality. I was so excited to find this truck as I was driving down the road and happened to stumble upon it. Everything was kept very neat and clean and you could tell that he was so caring about his coffee truck. I will definitely be back once I'm in the neighborhood again. I am so happy to have gone today.

One of the best, smoothest cups of coffee i have had. If your enjoy good coffee this is the place to go. Enjoyed the specialty coffees as well. Rick is super friendly, you see how much he cares.

recently moved into the bbp community and great south bay coffee has been the sweetest surprise. the owner is incredibly knowledgeable and you can tell he’s poured so much thought, love, and education into his craft. he treats coffee like both an art and a science, and it really shows. the quality is unreal. he makes all of his own syrups, which is so rare to find in this area, and you can taste the difference in every sip. it may be the best coffee i’ve ever had, and i’ve tried it all. my personal favorites are the biscoff and the banana lattes. such a gem for the community. highly recommend!
