Great South Bay Brewery of Lindenhurst

We absolutely loved our experience at Great South Bay Brewery in Lindenhurst. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was fun, welcoming, and relaxed. The food was outstanding, fresh and flavorful. The service was just as impressive. Everyone was friendly, attentive and genuinely seemed to enjoy being there. It made the whole visit feel even more special. We also had such a great time playing pool and shuffleboard. Whether you’re there for the craft beer, the great food or both, this place delivers across the board. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area. We’ll definitely be back!

Had my husbands 30th birthday here and everything was incredible! Melissa the manager was great and helped us set up our decorations. The day of the party, our staff was amazing! The bartender Erin, was extremely personable and remembered what everyone was drinking throughout the whole night. Our server Edwin made sure all the took care of all food set up and set up our dessert display great, as well as packing everything up to go for us! Everyone had a great time, would definitely have another party here in the future!

Been to this location before numerous times and it's been perfectly fine, but Friday night 1/16/26 was a bit odd. Our server who was also working as the bartender was great! Great attitude and very understanding of our situation. In the end, we got our $50 Groupon gift certificate honored, but not without push back from the manager on duty that night. I will say it was a bit confusing and definitely an issue that has to be addressed between Great South Bay and Groupon, since there is clearly some sort of disconnect there. On our phone, we had the Groupon gift card which had a barcode that was unable to be scanned since this location has no scanner, which is fair, but it also had a code that was apparently unable to be typed into your POS system because it contained letters. My wife and I dined in last night for the first time and we had such an awesome experience with our bartender Ashley. We usually go across the street to Sand City but this young lady’s demeanor alone will now have made us regular patrons! I can not say enough how hard it is to find personable, accommodating staff these days, she was just so lovely, it really makes all the difference! Thanks Ashley!

When you go to the Great South Bay Brewery make sure you have Erin serve you! She was lovely! She was warm friendly and very caring. She was not only attentive to me, she was also friendly and took care of others. By the way, when you go, you must have the French Bulldog. It was really really good and the coleslaw was great too. The place used to be a bank and they did a great job decorating. So go. Have a great time.
