Gravesend Pizza

I ordered from a pizza spot in Gravesend and I have to say… AMAZING. The pizza was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The crust had that ideal crisp on the outside but was still soft and airy inside — exactly how it should be. The sauce had great flavor (not too sweet, not too bland) and the cheese was perfectly melted with the best pull. You can tell when pizza is made right, and this was definitely one of those times. Gravesend does not disappoint. I’ll absolutely be ordering again.

I've been living in NYC for 30 years and had been to different boros and this pizza place is the best in NYC. Fresh made daily. I guarantee you, you will travel by subway to get a slice. Their pizza is out of this world deliciousness. Its just perfect! Their different menu of pasta is hands down! You should come and try. People working behind the counter are very friendly and accommodating if you want to personalize your order.

I love this place with all of my heart. Not only is it in my neighborhood, but it is truly one of the best slices in all of NYC. Their all meat pizza is to die for and their vodka sauce is iconic. But above all, the family that owns Gravesend is the best and I love everyone at the front of the store and in the kitchen. It’s an establishment in south Brooklyn and a not-to-miss slice.

After being in the food service business for two decades — I must say my experience as a customer here is on point when it comes to the vibe, and delivering quality products. A difference of “let me make this an experience for u” vs a “what can I get u”…. Goes a loooong way!! And the personable gentleman who helped me a few days ago after a blizzard, shared a genuine and personal exchange with me, both building my confidence in the brand of Gravesend Pizza in both product, and in service. IRL I think their Vodka slice is banging, and I’m not sold on the red sauce for their classic slice. But I’m picky. I like the right balance of salty, sweet, crunchy, doughy, and it’s a tall bill to fill. They’ll get there with a few tweaks I’m sure. But overall, I love wha I know of this spot so far.

Pizza was amazing and the hospitality was second to none! Absolutely wonderful people that knew it was our first time there, and the gave us a couple things on the house to try. Please try these amazing people and there food. You will be thankful you did! To the guys at Gravesend Pizza, you made a great first impression and we wish you tremendous success in the future!! 10 out of 10!!!
