This place is amazing! I feel like I’m enjoying Church Homecoming Dinner where the best cooks in the church have showed up, showed out and I gotta loosen my spanxs! Homemade everything! Their hospitality exceeds expectations and the wait staff always friendly and helpful. Don’t take my word for it…. Ya gotta try it!!!
My friend suggested GrannyHands because she ate here before. The food definitely didn't disappoint!! They had breakfast and lunch both on the buffet. The sweet tea was amazing, just like my grandma used to make!! I hope they open one in Clemson or Central, it would do extremely well. I can't wait to go back!!!
Wonderful experience! We got this tip from the cashier at the local Shell station. We were starving and try to stick to local joints. Granny Hands did not disappoint. When we arrived, there was a line out front waiting for the doors to open. As we went, we heard the most welcoming greeting that actually sounded sincere as though they really were grateful that each person was there. But let me tell you, the choice of foods available was almost overwhelming. I say this because how can one choose. We had the opportunity to taste dishes that aren't at a typical buffet. I also need to tell you that I DO NOT like buffets, I feel that the bland tasteless selections aren't worth the money. Noth the case here. They even let us explore to see if we wanted to stay. We tasted a bit of everything and s
I went to Granny Hands on Easter for the buffet & I can honestly say that I enjoyed EVERYTHING! My mom is a picky eater & she CLEANED her plate. She said it was some of the best fried chicken she ever had. Everything was fresh! I had the roast with rice & gravy, green beans, & macaroni & she had the best cakes. The cakes were moist & just melt in your mouth. I also enjoyed the banana pudding cause it didn’t have bananas & had a nice whipped texture. Everything reminded me of my mother’s cooking. It was about $28 per person but it was well worth it cause you will not leave hungry. She have a restaurant in Greenville, SC as well called Mae Ella’s & it is just as good. I live in Greenville so I’m hoping one day she will get on DoorDash. For everyone complaining about the price, I would rather
We stopped by on our way back to ATL. Overall the food is good. Our favorite item was the Mac-N-Cheese but they ran out an hour before closing. I escalated to the owner and they made it right. The pig feet needed a pinch of a salt. The meat loaf, potato salad, strawberry cheese cake and broccoli casserole was really good. Tables are really small. The drink is included in the price. I would prefer to pay separately. I only drink water. I would go back but never close to closing. You get the bare minimum. They have to figure out how to keep a full spread till closing or charge a discounted price after a certain time.
