Granite Library

An absolute treasure. I remember when this was Granite High School back in the day, and now I get to take my children to this beautiful library SEVERAL years later.... Not just the books that capture our imagination, but the daily Kid's Cafe, the puppet show toys the kids play with, weekly Origami- every Saturday, and the fun calendar events that happen (monster tea parties, gingerbread house contest, the face paintings, the guessing jar, scavenger hunts). One of our top 3 favorite places when we pick the Library.

great maker lab! there’s laser cutters, vinyl cutters, sewing machines, 3D printers, a podcast room, and so many wonders my little raccoon brain cannot fathom. there’s also a kids cafe that gives free meals for kids from 3:45-4:45pm! I didn’t know if a humble raccoon could get a meal but apparently so. as far as the books go, I can’t judge. I’m illiterate. however, this is my favorite library! highly recommend.

I love this library, it's near my house and easily accessible! The staff is always very kind and helpful. They usually have all the books that I am looking for, and if not. I can order them directly to the library and pick it up. They have a drive-by drop off, so you don't have to go inside to return your books every time. I would definitely recommend this place, they have a lot good resources for people. Printers, computers, and fun events.

This should be called Granite Community Center NOT library. This place is more of a fun house for obnoxious and boisterous kids than a place to read, study, or learn in peace. The "library" systems in Salt Lake City and County are severely lacking, this community center is just one example of that.

Really really nice, new library. Very impressed. It is clean and has a huge selection of books. Also a fun playground/climbing area out front. Will definitely visit here often!
