Grandpa's Cafe

I’m dairy free and my husband is wheat free. This truly is the perfect restaurant for us. We bring our dog with us and sit outside in the roomy patio. The food is always outstanding and perfectly cooked. They are the nicest people!

WELLLLLLL SADLY IM NOT GOING TO ORDER FROM THIS GRANDPA CAFE EVER AGAIN HAD a DELIVERY from GRANDPA CAFE IT WAS MY FIRST TIME BEING NEW TO COLORADO WANTED TO ENJOY A COUNTRY KITCHEN RESTAURANT IM SADLY SO VERY SORRY BUT AFTER MY EXPENSIVE EXPERIENCE I WILL NOT EVER ORDER FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT MY MEAL WAS A CHICKEN MUSHROOM CHEESE SANDWICH WHICH BUNS WERE SO VERY SOGGY YUCKY SOGGY WET. I DONT GET IT? SADLY I HAD TO THROW IN TRASH. IM GUESSING SANDWICH WAS WARMED BEFORE DELIVERY VIA MICROWAVE!! FRENCH FRIES 🍟 SADLY WERE MUSHY!! NOT CHRUNCHY LIKE FRIES SHOULD BE SERVED. SO THEY HAD TO BEEN MICROWAVED!!! I ALSO ORDERED ONION RINGS THEY WERE OK LITTLE MUSHY BRUSSELS SPROUTS AND SOUP WERE OK FINE BUT IT WAS ALL ORDERED UNDER SMALL SIDES WITH SANDWICH MY BILL RECEIPT IN HAND WAS TOT

It’s probably better there in the restaurant but door dash meal was absolute crap sorry to say. My wife and I ordered burgers they came soggy and raw pretty much . Your French fries came cold nd taste like cardboard with no flavor ! I apologize but was not happy with my food… only thing good was the mashed taters and the Pepsis . Thanks but no thanks not going back … sorry thumbs down 👎 to my experience with Grandpa’s cafe .

I've been in the hospitality industry 30 years. This place needs a manager. A "seat yourself" breakfast restaurant is a wild concept in a regular day, but Sunday? Took 30 minutes to get back to us to take the order, food took another 30. The food? Just no. Nothing looked good after waiting for so long. No drink refills. We did come on Father's Day, but the rush ended as we started our meal. Still no checking in with us. I try not to do negative reviews, check my history... There's usually someone that checks in with you and there was just nothing. We won't be back.

Food was decent. Biscuits and gravy were good. My only feedback would be to disclose that bacon is $4.50 as well as ham. We were asked what meat and eggs expecting it to be included as part of the meal. Was shocked to see an additional $9 to the bill for something like bacon & ham. Also, give customers at least 5 minutes to review the menu rather than instantly seating and then asking what we want to order before we had the opportunity to open the menu. Overall, solid place. Folks were nice.
