Yummy! This restaurant is a hidden gem. I had jerk chicken w cabbage and Sweet potatoes. I also had breakfast: big, fluffy pancakes, buttery eggs, bacon and chicken sausage. Both very delicious. This will be my new spot when heading to the bike trails. I'm telling all of my friends to go there. The food was perfectly seasoned and tasted delicious. It was the perfect temperature and very fresh. The owner is awesome and takes pride in the establishment. I am looking forward to visiting again and trying other dishes. The value was good. The Restaurant was very clean. The staff was very friendly and greeted me. The portion size was good. My order was accurate. Much success to them.

I should had read the comments before deciding to try them. $50 for breakfast for 2. I have never had something so unflavored and unseasoned in my life. The pancakes lacked flavor and were hard on the outside. The potatoes were oily and unseasoned. They had no flavor. The eggs were so flat and thin. Eggs should not have brown spots from over cooking them when asked for scrambled lightly. If I had been been eating in the restaurant I would have sent it all back. I tried to support but I can't support this place. Over priced and the food was bad. I threw it out. I would not even give that to my dogs. Service was the only thing that was perfect.

Got scammed out of a suprise bag through an app called too good to go to waste. The pick up date was hours past both their closing times. There's no option for a refund on the app, details are not provided on how you can get your money back or any kind of accountability, and there isn't any. That made it impossible to review the store. I'm leaving a review to say that's how they're making their money. They are using the back end of an environmentally conscious charity service meant to help people not waste food and be more sustainable. Any business doing that is not one that should be done business with.

I like to support black owned businesses, especially since this place use to be L&G’s. Went here with my husband this morning, we were waiting for probably 30 minutes for the food. When the food came out, they only had mine ready and not my husbands. Took another 10 minutes for my husbands. (40 min wait total). The service was really slow, The coffee was really watery, and the food was pretty disappointing once it finally did come out. The grits were clearly microwaved, and still had oil from the cheese pooled on the top. The waitress was really rude as well. She didn’t check on us, didn’t ask how the food was, didn’t even ask how we were doing. She also told us they were out of orange juice but then gave orange juice to two other customers. :) The menus they handed us were stained with

This restaurant use to be L & G… now it’s Grand Rising. It’s basically still the same vibe I don’t really see a difference. I do wish that there wasn’t hair inside my food.
