Granby Street Pizza

I have eaten here many times while visiting Norfolk or the nearby Scope Arena. The place is not huge but have never had to wait for a table the times visited and a waitress has been over quickly. Prices are reasonable and food is good with generous portions. No complaints.

Our family orders delivery from GSP quite a bit, monthly at least, with an oddball or two extra orders here and there. Pretty much every time we finish our meal we say, "Damn that was good." Even though it's got Pizza in the name, I recommend you try the pasta dishes, especially the Blackened Chicken Primavera. My daughter loves the Baked Ziti. Couple tips...order an extra dinner bread just because, and get the Vinaigrette for your salad.

Ate here last night. Food was fantastic. The cheesesteak was my favorite. Def better than Major down the street. Chicken parm was cooked perfect and the piccata was super tasty. Kids had the pizza and loved it! Highly recommend them.

By most people's standards, this place is five stars. I'm a perfectionist though, so I can't quite say the pizza is next level, but it's as good or better than most of the pizza in New York. Just please bring back the Sicilian, or even better start doing a Detroit. The menu is way too big, though.

We were originally planning to go to another pizza place in the area, however, noticed that the reviews were higher on this place and after visiting, we understand why. The service was wonderful. They checked on us without interrupting several times to ensure everything was to our liking. The waitress was so excited to find out that this was our first time having cannolis and was happy to package them to go as we had explained. We were heading back to Richmond and it was approximately 6 o’clock so we were aware we were going to hit some level of traffic.
