Grain and Berry - Richardson

On 02/24/2026 visited Grain & Berry. I was a first‑time customer and ordered the Meat Your Heart quesadilla online. It was ready in about 10 minutes. When I walked in, I was greeted with so much enthusiasm and genuine happiness that it immediately set the tone for my morning. I said “good morning,” and the staff member lit up even more. She asked for my order info and cheerfully said, “Oh great, I just finished making it!” She let me know they were out of basil but everything else was still on it. I told her that was no problem and thanked her and she replied, “I made it with love.” That honestly shocked me in the best way. You don’t get customer service like that every day. I’ve worked in customer service for years, and just working with People can be beyond frustrating. It truly takes

Fantastic! This is an adorable place that is very focused on health. It’s clean and inviting. I appreciate their attention to food allergy detail. The prices are higher than you would spend on your typical fast lunch but the portions are huge. Highly recommend.

The grand opening was busy and ordering took a long time. They also changed their special from 1st 100 people to 1st 100 households; but even still some households got more than 1 including some children; which was frustrating having my wife standing around for hours for nothing. The kitchen service was very fast and convenient. The menu was very easy to read. The crew members were very friendly, helpful, attentive, and knowledgeable. The business was very clean. The food was accurate and delicious. With the exception of the offer and ordering process, which were significantly unpleasant, It could be a good place.

I came today to Grain and Berry on opening day since they were offering free bowls for a year to the first 100 guests. There was a bit of an issue when they started handing out the vouchers for the first 100 people, as advertised on their social media. Last minute, they changed it to 1 voucher per household—even though many people showed up with their kids and had been waiting since way before 7am. Honestly, that felt unfair. They should’ve stuck to what was originally promised or at least given 2 vouchers per household instead of changing the rules on the spot. I ordered the “Grain and Berry Bowl” and picked spirulina as my base (never had it before!). It came loaded with granola, banana, strawberry, blueberry, Nutella, peanut butter, and coconut shavings. I’ve had an amazing experience at the Rowlett location of Grain & Berry. The owners and staff are incredibly welcoming and always go above and beyond for their loyal customers. Every time I visit, they treat me with kindness, sometimes even offering free bowls just to let me try something new. Their exceptional customer service and genuine care have made me a loyal fan. On the other hand, my experience with the Richardson location was disappointing. When I placed an online order that defaulted to Richardson instead of Rowlett, they refused to refund my money. It was a frustrating experience, especially since the Rowlett location is always so accommodating. Overall, I highly recommend the Rowlett Grain & Berry for their outstanding service and dedication to their customers. I hope the Ric
