Gracie Mews Diner

After walking by this place for a couple of years, I finally decided to try it. This was probably the best customer service experience I have had in New York. All the staff were genuinely friendly, and the manager even came by to check on us. It has a classic diner vibe with plenty of seating. The breakfast burrito is really solid and the pancakes were better than we expected for diner pancakes, I’d get them again. Do not skip the hot cocoa. It was perfect on a cold winter morning. I highly recommend coming here for groups of any size.

Came here recommended by a friend living in the block. I tried their 9oz burger today. I ordered the “Mr. French” cooked median with fries. The burger was decent. The flavor was very simple with caramelized onions and cheese. If you asked me, the onions weren’t cooked long enough. I’d preferred it to be softer and can barely see the shape of sliced onions. It came with coleslaw and half of a small pickle. They were ordinary, nothing worth mentioning. The slice tomato, lettuce and sliced onions were very fresh. The fries were good as expected. Overall, it was an average diner that someone living in the neighborhood would go to. They do have a nice environment. Everything was clean and the whole space was well lit. The servers were nice. That’s pretty much it.

More like Gracie meh! They have a huge never ending menu but 4 out of the 5 dishes we ordered were average. We tried the Veggie garden burger, Parmesan truffle fries, Mexican omelet, chicken sandwich. The prices are high for the level of food that they offer. Not impressed, would not go back.

If you want great service, atmosphere and equally as important great food, this is a great pick. The prices are comparable or slightly higher but the quality and portions are worth it!

We come back because of the amazing service and food. The manager Hilario is always very welcoming. Our server Terrance is always our guy. We love everyone there. The food is as amazing! So many options to choice from
