Goubaa Grub on Cottman

The food cart I went to is "The Famous Gyro Guys". The food was great, the portion you get for what you pay is generous and the cook was very nice and thankful. Great experience and I'll be going back whenever I come around there again.

The food is delicious! I had the shrimp tacos and my daughter had the chicken tacos. We sat and ate on the old bank steps next to the cart. It was so yummy, we ordered another two orders to go! Open late on Monday night at midnight. Not sure what time they actually close.

I was feeling indecisive, and they gave me a free sample of the chicken. It was so good I figured why not. The whole meal was absolutely amazing!!! So much flavor, great amount for your money. Delicious!! I can’t wait to come back.!!

If this was a few months ago, I probably would have given them 3 stars. It used to be unreliable and inconsistent with quality, but when it was there and the food was right, it would be amazing. Some times, I would go out of my way to go there and the truck would be nowhere to be found. At some point, I stopped even going. Then, one day, I saw they were back. But would it be good was the question. Since the guy, Omar, started running the truck, there's been a marked improvement. He said it would be there Tuesday to Sunday and it actually has been. And... the food's been consistently amazing. I've eaten at Goubaa Grub more times in the past month than I have since I found out about it in 2019. This food truck at the corner of girard and frankford is all you can ask for after a night out. The food is flavorful, hearty, and delicious. We got the grilled chicken platter which was cooked and sauced to perfection!!!! Meanwhile, the service is also 10/10.
