I travel for work everyday and always look for privately owned places to eat. Found this place on Google and for the price and including a drink with it was worth trying. Let me say one of the best cheesesteaks I have had and this is hard to compare to my hometown. Spot on made the way I wanted it and you must have them make it with Cooper Cheese. The seasoning of the meat as well as the bread is amazing with that crunch and everyone there is very pleasant. I will definitely be back in the future. If you are ever in the Hazelton area it is a must try. Delicious

My husband had a medical appointment in Hazelton this afternoon and while looking online for a restaurant, we found Gorilla Hoagies. The place itself is just lovely, very inviting and so clean. The hoagies are absolutely outstanding. The ingredients are super fresh and the bread is out of the world. My husband said it was the best cheese steak he has had in years. Highly recommend stopping by if you anywhere near the Hazelton area.

Small family oriented Hoagie shop. The cheese steak hoagie combo was a great deal. They do not skimp on the ingredients at all, and the bread was hands down the best I've had at any sandwich shop. Highly recommended 👌

Their food is incredible. The chopped cheese is huge and delicious. The bread tastes fresh, with the perfect amount of chewiness. Their empanadas are the best in the area.
