Gorditas El Rey

We ordered 4 different gorditas and they were all delicious. I asked our waitress what customer's order the most she said picadillo and chicharron. I got both of those with a side of rice and beans. For mumy daughter I got here a gordita with beans only and a gordita with eggs and ham. She liked her food as well.

Definitely a hole in the wall spot. But please don’t let that turn you away. I got mini tacos and the meat was perfect. Very good tacos spot. When even I’m in the area I will definitely be back.

We visit here as much as possible but especially on the weekends. The menudo is our favorite but the menu has a ton of items, you will find something you love! My picky son LOVES their tacos! Horchata is also served and so good so that's always a plus! Staff is amazing too & Karla is always our favorite ❤️ it's a nice little hidden gem in the Northside! You can even get menudo to go! We've definitely woken up on a Sunday and ordered some to go to enjoy at home all day.

The quesabirrias are top notch they taste very good, the gorditas are very good, some of the best I've tasted and they offer a wide variety of food so you are bound to find something you like. This place really is a hidden gem and doesn't get the recognition it deserves since it is the old location of Taqueria Temos and it's outshined by it but I really recommend both places
