Gorditas Doña Tota

Our family’s favorite spot for gorditas! 🌮 They are super delicious and always worth the wait. The wait time can take a little while, but that’s only because they make everything fresh right there, and it shows in the taste. We had the mole con pollo, rajas (my favorite), and beans & cheese, and every single one was amazing. We absolutely love this place and highly recommend it!

Food is great when they make what you actually order. Dont bother ordering on Uber eats if its within the last couple hours of them being open, they will give you anything but what you ask for to get it out of the door. Regardless of paying for extras. Convenient for them since I cant call to pick up my actual order now. This is not the first, or even the second time theyve done it either. Its definitely a habit for them, and something they do frequently.

I am going to imply the owner of this restaurant/franchise has never had her own mother or wife or loved one suffer from cancer, because at this place instead of having the meat stews they serve inside a stainless steel pan, and then washing the pans at the end of the day, like all other restaurant do, instead they put a super thin plastic bag liner inside the pan, and then they put the food insde the hot pan, ON TOP OF THE PLASTIC! essentially serving their customers a high potency cocktail of PFAS, BPA's and tons of other carcinogens which leeches over from the hot plastic liner into the food, they do this because without the plastic liner the pan will get dirty and as the food goes down in level inside the pan, the sauce dries on the walls of the pan and forms a crust, so with the pla

I was so excited to try this place, as I had been before in a different city. However, once I received my food I was very disappointed. The amount they put of papas con chorizo was the size of a tablespoon. If they were out of the product why not just let us know instead of not serving a decent portion. Also disappointed with the fact that there was NO SOAP in the restroom. How is this restaurant being clean and hygienic if they can’t even provide soap and makes me wonder if the employees even wash their hands? Don’t recommend visiting this location at least.

This are the best gorditas in town! After trying other places in each visit I really was surprised! This a very neat and clean place. They serve fast. The gorditas looks little but very well stuffed 😋 I recommend this to anyone who misses the real flavor of a good Mexican gordita. My favorite? Chicharron en salsa verde.😁
