Gooding Hotel Bed & Breakfast

We did a last minute overnight here, room was comfy and clean, loved the charming vintage feel, so many great antiques, owners were very accommodating and gave so much details on the history of the building. Breakfast was amazing, and loved the sugar free options, even sugar free hot coconut for my daughter. Loved this place and having a great night with the family.

My first time staying here. Came back to Gooding to see my brother and my father's home town. Stayed in the Senator's Suite room 1. It's very comfortable and I slept like a rock. Breakfast was perfect and just all around comfortable. Very kind people. Will be back again with my wife and kids some day.

The Gooding Hotel Bed and Breakfast is adorable and comfortable. The owners, Elizabeth and Robert, are kind and generous people. They went out of their way to accommodate our vegan diet with a HUGE vegan breakfast. There were a lot of personal touches to make our stay nicer. Elizabeth chatted with us over breakfast and shared a lot of history of the hotel and town. The hotel was built between 1890 and 1906 as a railroad hotel for railroad workers and folks moving out west to establish a homestead. We met Robert later who gave us excellent travel advice for some of our future travel destinations. We loved the feel of the Hotel and the beds were super comfortable. We appreciated that these new owners are working hard to keep the antique and historical feel of the place. I would recommend

An incredibly quaint old historic building with so much charm. I stayed in the “Walter Room” upstairs, which didn’t have its own bathroom. There was a nicely removed Powder Room down the hall as a well as a shower room. Other rooms have their own bathrooms. The new owners are very nice, and they are updating the hotel.

This was an older, clean and comfortable place to stay. Owner makes a nice breakfast and can tell you a lot about history of the town and Idaho in general. He is a descendant of the towns founder. Lots of beautiful parks and sites to see with easy access from here. Shoshone Falls, Malad Gorge, Little City of Rocks, all the Thousand Springs State Parks sites. A fairly short drive to Twin Falls. Train goes by very close to hotel a few times a night. I was able to fall back asleep right after each passing. Charming and quaint and unique. Affordable also. Check it out.
