Goodfellas catering and BBQ

I went to an event. The food was good.It was basic.It was unorganized .Salad should always have seperate bowls .2 lines formed on each side of long tables. People were reaching over one another for utensils,napkins & plates. Those should be placed on both sides.They ran out of dessert. There wasn’t enough for everyone. I have dealt with other caterers,where if you say for 50,they will make enough for 10 to 20 more.Many people were complaining .Usually there is bread or rolls & 2 types of hot vegetables.Many were not impressed. I have been a manager of a VFW for 17 years & always used Achatz. They were always on top of everything. A couple would be overlooking everything & couple workers would be in kitchen.They were always pleasant,this company didn’t seem very nice.

Since I have known them, their food is great. But since September of 2024 when we hired them for our wedding, it has been a disaster. With him forgetting about our taste testing TWICE, not even trying what we had on our menu, nothing was written down on our invoice(not even downpayment it was written on a sticky note), late for our wedding 1.5 hours, didn’t bring half of our desserts we paid for,, and didn’t have written down I paid him another payment of over $500. Super unorganized, and not trust worthy

Catered an event I attended tonight! Food and desserts were hot and fresh. They were running a little late but it was the first time they've catered this event and the location is kind of hidden so I understand. The last caterer at this event sucked so Goodfellow breathed life back into this event. I'm sorry to see so many negative reviews, our experience was nothing short of a good one. No raw food here. I recommend Goodfellows catering.

I was very unhappy on my wedding day due to them being late the food was either over cooked or under cooked and the food was bland. He also didn’t have my dinner rolls that were supposed to be included with my order and he didn’t even bring my desserts the two desserts that I was looking forward to eating. Will say he did bring chicken that was not even on my order but he shouldn’t have because that was under cooked and didn’t even taste good. When my family and friends asked why he was late to bringing my food he kept changing the story. Over all this was my worse experience with any food caterer I will not be using them again. Would have rather just had pizza from a pizza place.

Great experience with Goodfellas for my daughter graduation party. The food was delivered timely, the people who delivered were friendly and accommodating, the food was outstanding. The last two days I’ve had people calling me wanting to know who catered. I’ve never seen so many people go for seconds. Thank you for the great experience. We will most definitely be using you in the future
