Good Jakes Restaurant

We always enjoy the food here. Your honey buffalo wings are the bomb! (I ask for extra crispy) My husband loves the flounder franchise. Our latest favorite is the apple turnover dessert - yummy. Good food at a fair price. What really impresses me is Tatianna! She is very observant, always pleasant, remembers everyone’s order without writing anything down and checks back to make sure everything is okay. And to be able to do all that at the social club on a packed Friday night is really something. I hope you know how lucky you are to have such a special person being the face of your business.

Average food. We both ordered tacos, mine in soft shell hers in hardshell. The downside was the food was bland. No worse than those chain Mexican restaurants that I tried to avoid. The upside was the portion was very generous. There was so much filling that the tacos tended to fall apart. This in contrast to some of the skimpy portions, I’ve received at other locations. The menu is extensive. As is often the case with takeout, the food can get somewhat soggy and I recommend eating the tacos there. There is adequate seating and easy parking. I would definitely go back and try something else.

Did a Sunday drive with my family. Googled places to eat near me. Good Jake’s popped up with good reviews. That was an understatement. The restaurant was cute. Prices are inexpensive for the quantity of food. The service was great. Maria was so sweet and gave a recommendation for the chicken Gyro and my husband loved it. A small business with a big outcome.

We tried Good Jake’s for the first time tonight and it was SO good! The NE Clam Chowder was sooo yummy, def homemade. It was really hard to pick one thing; they have a lot of good options on the menu. We sat on the “family” side of the restaurant. We didn’t even know there was a bar side. It was so quiet and quaint, kind of a Gilmore Girls feel. We didn’t really save room, but we got ice cream anyway. Everything was delicious! The prices were reasonable. The ambience delightful. The location was easy to get to, not far from 309. We will be back!

Good Jakes Restaurant is located on Main St. inside the Coopersburg Fire Department Club. They are open Tue - Thu 8AM - 9PM, Fri - Sat 8AM - 10PM, and Sun 8AM - 8PM. I never heard of this place, but a friend recommended it to me. I’m glad he did because the food was good and the service was great. GJ is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu is similar to one you would see at a diner. I ordered a cheesesteak and garlic Parmesan wings. The cheesesteak comes with American cheese, sauce, sautéed onions, and mayo. I typically don’t like my cheesesteaks with sauce or mayo, but this was good. The wings were crispy and heavily sauced. I’ve had better garlic Parmesan sauces, but once again, still good. GJ has Indoor and outdoor seating. Pickup and delivery are both available.
