We had a fantastic experience with Good Home. They were super quick and helpful during our adoption process and have continued to assist us even now a year after we adopted. We adopted one of their cats through one of GH’s foster homes which was a very smooth process. They clearly care very much about cats and want the absolute best for all of their babies. We had an amazing experiencing adopting our little kitten from Good Home Pet Adoptions recently! I found them through simply an online search for "Can adoptions in Brooklyn" and was impressed by the reviews, so we stopped by for the first time in August of 2025. My partner and I were both excited to adopt our first kitty, and I especially was looking for an affectionate lapcat, and were just coming off a year living in Rome, Italy, where we befriended 2 amazing stray black cats who lived near my residency, whom we ended up feeding every day, and who inspired us to adopt a kitty when we returned to NYC. “Good” is an understatement. The team at Good Home Pet Adoptions is absolutely fantastic! I was a foster parent for two sweet girls, Pumpkin and Zucchini, for around 7 months. I had a wonderful fostering experience. This was my first time doing so, and every question I ever had was answered with so much kind, caring, and helpful detail. Good Home allowed me to borrow a number of supplies, such as carriers, toys, and some different types of wet food for my foster cats to try out. I really felt that this was a partnership, as opposed to a solo endeavor, to get the kitties adopted and into loving homes. I can’t recommend them enough! Thank you to them, and to Bronwen especially!

Whenever I have a bad day and want to play with some kittens I go by Good Home, pay my $5, and play with kittens for 30 minutes. It is one of the best relaxation resources in the city. Theres no pressure to foster/adopt, so it doesn’t feel awkward if you just want to go hang out. Volunteers tend to be very nice, though some may treat you like you’re stupid (I might be). Great to go alone or with a friend.

Best cat lounge we've been to! We had a very pleasant and calming experience visiting the lounge and playing with kittens. You also can feed them with treats. Will come back :)
