Good Dough

Oh my word. This place is a GEM. Truly, some of the best bread I've ever had. We got some sourdough, a focaccia, and an apple tart (forget the exact name) and all three were stunning. I daresay they were all the best of their kind I've ever had. A word about the focaccia. Do yourself a favor and get one of these babies. I have never...NEVER had a focaccia that came close to this good and I've had some pretty dang good focaccia. I knew by the translucency of the paper bag that it came in that it was going to be good and my goodness, was I right. The flakiness. The crisp. The layers. The mouthfeel. I stopped in today to get some birthday bread… and wow. Adorable storefront, great customer service, and the bread is incredible. I got the beet and golden sourdough, both amazing. They have coffee too, will definitely be back.

Such a cute place and the food is amazing! The blonde Sourdough is my favorite although the coffee cake is a winner too! Definitely try this place, you won’t regret it!

This cute little new bakery in Portland is everything I hoped for! The bread is absolutely fantastic and the owner is passionate and kind. I was so excited to try their coffee cake and it might be my new regular order when I go! I also got some rolls for my husband to take to work and his coworkers are excited to visit here in the near future. So excited and keep up the good work!

I meant to post this review yesterday, but I've been too busy eating all of the delicious bread we bought. I first tried their bread at Bread Fest last year, and I am stoked to see that they opened a brick and mortar. Make sure you try the sandwich!
