Customer Reviews
Good coffee. Light and fluffy pancakes with whipped butter. Bacon was meaty, and not overly salty. My wife had the Fisherman’s breakfast; Eggs scrambled, sausage patties, home fries and biscuit. Everything was delicious.
I could tell you all about the great country food and the cute authentic atmosphere, but this (look at the picture) is what true community is all about and what we need more of everywhere! They had multiple of these signs everywhere. Absolutelly stop by and support this business that supports people!
We were there on March 21st while visiting Celina for the Chocolate Gravy Festival. I noticed a sign that said that breakfast was served all day. Yay for me because I like breakfast at dinner time. And then we were told by the waitress that breakfast was not served all day. **Sigh** So, I ordered a BLT. I was with a (male) friend who seemed to get all of our waitress' attention. I'm guessing she thought (rightly so, in this case) that he was paying, but maybe not be so obvious about your target audience. She seemed young, though, so maybe she's just learning the finesse of dealing with customers to get the best tips. Anyway, the BLT was not that great. And, I mean, it's a BLT. We're not talking very sophisticated food here. The bacon was limp, not crisp at all, and there was very little of
We were traveling from out of state and knew as soon as I saw the place I had to stop! So glad I did!! Just a good ol’ country good place to eat. We had the a mushroom Swiss burger and the Philly cheese steak. Burger was prepared just right and one word for the cheese steak….DAYUM! Never had one like that, meat was perfect and it had some kind of heat to it, not too much, just right. I talked to Lexus and Katy and Katy said the cheese was pepperjack! It made it delicious, and Honda thunk! Sides of rings and fries were also good. If you are headed to Cave City, plan a stop to see the sweet ladies!
Edited with a response to the reply. It’s unfortunate how we set out on a road trip this morning from out of town. Picked a place to eat and this was the place that we settled on for breakfast. Wish we would have kept driving. Not an adult working in site and the restaurant ran like a teen ran it. After 45 mins of waiting for food when everyone else that came in after us had theirs. I was told yeah others are ahead of you. 5 tables plus ours with people in them in the whole place and 3 of them had food. When the hour mark hit we got our food. Food was delicious but half of it was cold. Will not visit again. 😔 We are a party of 5, my wife and I were there for the 3 kids. Review the footage to when the waitress brought us our food after an hour of being there with half a re
