Golden Pot

I tried Golden Pot Chinese for the first time and it was absolutely amazing! I ordered the General Tso’s chicken, fried rice, and crab rangoons, and everything was sooo delicious. The flavors were fresh, the portions were generous, and you can really tell they put care into their cooking. The General Tso’s was absolutely delicious, the fried rice was full of flavor, and the crab rangoons were perfectly crispy and creamy inside. I’ll definitely be coming back! I highly recommend!

Best Chinese food we’ve found since moving here! We got the fried wings, beef with broccoli that came with white rice, sweet and sour chicken that also came with white rice, St. Louis style shrimp fried rice & got free crab ragoon. Everything was hot & fresh, containers packed full! Ordered online & it was ready when we got there. We drive 15 minutes just to eat here!

I got the Mei Fun, first time trying this dish and it was so filling and had such good flavor! It was not noted on the online menu but the level of spicy on this dish was perfect, (they did let my husband know this was a spicy dish when ordering in person). I still had enough leftover to eat some more today and just added eggs since it was my lunch. Definitely will be ordering more!

I haven’t lived in this area in 10 yrs so I’m getting back familiar using reviews and social media etc and actually saw this place on TikTok. I don’t know if maybe my expectations are just high because of the reviews or what! Hadn’t come to Google reviews to see the 3.8 that may have changed my mind, but anywho I ordered the house special fried rice, wontons, and chicken wings. The chicken wings may have been ok. I tasted some flavor but they were fried and then double fried and then probably fried AGAIN because they were so dark and hard. Not crispy and golden but almost burnt and they tasted like old grease definitely weren’t fresh but refried old wings. The place looks like a hole in the wall so I was sure the food was going to be good. I ordered honey chicken and the sauce on it is sesame. I called to let them know and was told that sesame chicken is sweet and sour and honey chicken is sweet (I’m very aware of what it tastes like). It tastes sour and sweet but I didn’t want to fight and assumed I was wrong and had a friend order their sesame chicken along with a few other things to compare. It’s literally the exact same sauce 🤣. If you messed up that’s fine but gaslighting me is crazy. I don’t appreciate it.
