Golden Palace Chinese Restaurant

We ate here for the first time yesterday. I was truley impressed. We ate around 5pm and we were supprised it was not very busy. Anyways the restaurant was very clean and decorated nicely with Chinese decor. Even the table had dragons on the top. The food was SO GOOD! The food was fresh and clean. It tasted just absolutely delicious. Every bit of the dishes we had was perfect. Fun quirk was that a robot cat brought the food out to the table with the server/waitress. We had alot of fun eating here. This is a hole in the wall gem. I do recommend this restaurant and I will be going back with more friends and family. Everyone needs to try it!

Purchased 2 spicy fried rice orders. I only received 1 order that was spicy. When I called and spoke w/ the manager they said they could only credit “1 pork egg roll” even though that wasn’t in my order. They refused to credit the incorrect item. Went to this place for years with no issues. Never again.

Ordered DoorDash from here and it was amazing. The food came nice and hot and tasted fresh. The egg rolls were delicious and crispy on the outside. Absolutely loved everything.

Well let’s start out saying I’ve been eating here for over 20 years,Until Covid. It was Always a great place To dine for food.They have only been open for delivery only since the Covid era.After recently hearing they opened the in dining back up we were Excited to get back to what It was. But…. Unfortunately you have to order from a kiosk as you walk in the door. If you choose to dine in you seat yourself. You get your own drink and plasticware. Then they serve your soup in a plastic dish with a lid and your food in a plastic togo box. Very disappointing. It’s basically ordering take out and eating it in their house.

Ordered carry out. Egg Rolls appear pre-made, store bought; as did the Crab Ragoons. Ironically the only two dishes that had flavor! Chicken Fried Rice was tasteless. Required plenty of salt and pepper. However lots of chopped chicken. Chicken Chow Mein, again flavorless. “HORRIBLE”, as stated by my wife. No plasticware or napkins for our carry out order. Meal for Two cost > $50.00 without drinks, plates or plasticware.
