The rice and peas with oxtail really missed the mark for me!the flavor just wasn’t there, and the oxtail was soft but not tasty. Definitely not what I was hoping for. That said, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was nice, which made the experience a bit better. Just wish the food matched the vibe.

Best chicken soup I’ve ever had in my life. I also got white rice & curry shrimp and a side of plantain which were all amazing 🤤 and the lady gave me a free patty because my order was over $40 which is so kind and great customer service. I’m looking forward to going back! Best Jamaican food I’ve ever had.

Very upset someone asked me to pick up some food for them it was a large order of oxtail. The small Frame lady she’s around around 5’4” tall serve me. She is arguing with me that she is using the large container and I’m telling her the container is not the large. She kept telling me and I kept telling her. I was trying not to be disrespectful and I should’ve called somebody else to assist me. She charged me for a large oxtail in a medium container. And I’m not even arguing about the money is the fact that someone else sent me to the store to make the purchase for them that’s what I’m upset about. She can never serve me again. Never ever ever if she’s the only person in the story which I don’t think that would ever happen because they are always busy she can’t serve me.

I purchased food from golden crust and to me the consistency of the food is different than I recall. How do you mess up plantains. The jerk chicken was not spicy at all and the cabbage had no flavor. The rice and peas were delicious with oxtail gravy. And the beef patty was so so.Will I go back yes just to see how the curry chicken is.

Lord, they didn't give my mom the plantains that were supposed to go with the oxtails. Very disappointing to her. The staff couldn't even fake a smile. One person seemed human, and I think it was the manager, who informed me that my beef patty was free because we spent over a certain amount. And no handicap parking in the little plaza, unless you're going to the one store that has 2 spots. NO DINE IN AVAILABLE.
