Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurant

I went here yesterday to get a spicy beef patty right before closing however, they were still open. The doors were open. I walked up to the counter, and the young lady was cleaning the area where the food is warmed with gloves I asked for a spicy beef patty she removed one glove and use the other hand with the glove on it to grab the utensils to take out the beef patty. That was the first red flag as one of the gloves were still on and she was just cleaning with cleaning products and use that same hand with the glove to grab the utensil that she was going to utilize to take out my beef patty , very uncleanly. She puts the patty into the bag, and I proceed to the train. Once I sit down on the train, I take a bite of the beef patty and immediately realize it is a cheese Beef patty. I am lact

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently visited Golden Krust Restaurant and had an outstanding dining experience! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Our server, Paul, was absolutely amazing—attentive, professional, and friendly. He made sure we felt welcomed and that everything was to our liking. We ordered the Oxtail with Rice and Peas (Beans) and vegetables, and it was simply delicious. The oxtail was perfectly tender and flavorful, and the rice and peas complemented it beautifully. The vegetables were fresh and seasoned just right. Every bite was a delightful taste of authentic Caribbean cuisine. They also have great baked goods like Spiced Buns , Hard Dough Bread, Jamaican Patties and many more Jamaican favorites. If you’re looking for great food and excellent service, Gold

Extremely Extremely unnecessarily expensive. The menu shows one price you walk up they add 3-4 extra dollars on top of the price. The amount of food is NO where near what you’re paying for. The other day the small curry goat menu price was 15.00. I get to the counter the lady said 20.64. I gave her the money and she just threw the change at me on the counter so disrespectfully. They definitely need to look into price adjustment and having more respect towards customers. Paying over 20.00 for a small food is crazy.

Excellent spot to grab a bite to eat right after commuting. Delicious Caribbean food at a decent price with a clean environment and soothing atmosphere! I will recommend!

The food, especially the patties are good when it comes to taste. Presentation however isn’t that great. It doesn’t matter if it’s breakfast or lunch they just scoop up the food and dash it in the pan. The problem for me with that they use a lot of oil and don’t drain it. So the food is sitting in a pan of oil. Ask them to please not all that oil and they look at you like you have 3 heads. In my picture you can see my meal and the amount of oil I drain from it.
