Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurant

Golden Krust offers a small buffet of food choices, baked goods and other items such as Caribbean seasonings and drinks to purchase. I was happy to see that they offered a variety of patties: traditional, mild, spinach, chicken, etc. I love a good Jamaican beef patty, so I was sold. The crust was flakey and the item itself was pretty large. However, the pocket of meat inside was definitely not as densely packed as the images on the menu screen. It was still very enjoyable and I would come back to eat one again.

When I walked in and saw the servers smiling I said oh no this not going to be authentic hahaha. Never thought I’d have such tasty food from a Golden Krust! So good i ate it up and forgot to take pics. Beef patty was ok. Oxtail was full of flavor and tender. So happy to finally find some good Jamaican food in Central FL. I will for sure be returning to try more dishes.

What a great experience! The food was awesome! Im from NYC so west Indian food was a staple for me. Since coming to central Florida I have not experienced delicious carribean food until I found Golden Krust. The food presentation was excellent. The restaurant was very clean. The service was great. Definitely going back!

I recently hosted a party and had Golden Krust Restaurant in Clermont cater the food—and they truly exceeded my expectations. Everything was absolutely excellent! The pasta, the curry goat, the rice and peas… every single dish was delicious. My guests could not stop talking about how good the food was. You can taste the love and care that went into preparing each item. I just want to give a big shout-out to Golden Crust and thank them for the amazing job they did. Their catering made my event a huge success. Highly recommend!

I originally had a 3 star review from about a year ago. In the last few months, I feel that this location has gotten a lot better with their service and their food. I’m impressed 😌 enjoyed breakfast, red pea soup, and the occasionally beef patty.
