Golden House

We ordered dinner for delivery from here for our stay-at-home Valentines dinner. It got good reviews online. The delivery was very prompt, the order was correct, and the delivery person was friendly. Unfortunately the food was not good. It lacked flavor, and just didn’t taste fresh. Maybe it’s because it’s a busy day since it’s Valentines Day and they had to make a lot of food ahead of time. Disappointing for us though.

What a great local, no frills Chinese take-out restaurant! We had been looking for an affordable, fast but tasty American-Chinese cuisine and Golden House fit the hill! We ordered several dishes including beef with broccoli, Chinese eggplant with chicken, moo shi vegetables, pork lo mein, and spare ribs. All dishes were made correctly and delicious! Would highly recommend and will definitely be coming back!

I've eaten about three or so times here and I have to say the food is really delicious. The atmosphere could use a bit of work but that's honestly the charm of the location. The food itself besides being shockingly delicious hasn't made me feel bloated or too greasy, so it's sat well in my stomach long after enjoying it.

I highly recommend Golden House, the food is always delicious and fresh. I appreciate the entire staff for their professionalism. And the delivery driver is wonderful.

Favorite carry out in Downtown silver spring. Curry shrimp with white rice & Singapore noodles🔥🔥 I made a few big orders of 20-25 and it was ready in 15 min, whole crew loved the food
