Golden Dawn Diner

People deserve to be warned. Some of the worst diner food I've ever had. I try to be sparing with 1 star reviews, in my over 100 reviews I dont think I've left more than a handful. I told the manager I wouldn't bother but the longer I thought of it, the stronger my moral obligation felt. Ill start with the one good thing, our server Sahara was fantastic. Friendly, professional, attentive. Sahara girl if you are reading this, you could make real money at an establishment that served decent food. I tried so hard to be ok with the food because I was hungry, and the server was great We ordered chicken croquette, mozzarella sticks, and the chicken parmesan. I got the snapper soup. Or Should I call it the cinnamon roux water, because that is what it tasted like? Wouldn't reccomend. The chick

Visited 1/10/26. Excellent service. Our waitress was the best I've had at any restaurant in a long time. Even the kids mentioned how good she was! Just quick, happy, thoughtful and upbeat. The food was pretty good, too. HUGE portions on the kids menu. My chicken parm was pretty standard. No complaints. The red sauce tastes sweet. Not my thing, but I know for many people it is. #TheDinerDiner

The food is always good at Golden Dawn and Geraldine was an amazing waitress! Very attentive to our needs and professional.

First time trying Golden Dawn, a local favorite. The food was okay, but the French onion soup was excellent, and our waitress was wonderful, making the experience warm and enjoyable.

The food was good and the portions were generous. What was truly OUTSTANDING was the server, Batahan. He was eager to serve and he did so with energy and a smile. Hard to find a young person with a terrific work ethic. Thank you!
