Golden Corral Buffet & Grill

My hubby n I celebrated our 13 year anniversary today for lunch there the food was fresh and amazing and everyone was friendly and I even complimented the cooks and let them know how much of a amazing job they did. We're frequent diners here. The owner I met is a wonderful guy. Unfortunately there is no way he would have been around when we went. This was one of my worst experiences ever dining here or any buffet. They were out of steak, which things happen, I understand. So I got the roast beef from the carving station. It was ice cold and dry. The rest of the bar was almost completely empty! There was roughly 15 cars in the parking lot, which is why we decided to stop. Usually its packed and fantastic. The bourbon street chicken was pale and watery with no flavor. My wife was able to get one piece of fried chicken! They finally filled it as we were leaving. Let me start by saying it was easy to pay for our dinner and the Waitress did a tremendous job! ( 5 stars for her ). Everything went downhill from there!! First of all, there were 14 empty to almost empty pans. There wasn't much to choose from like other Golden Corrals, even this one in the past years! The only meat in large amounts was pot roast. There were a few pieces of dried out chicken. Quite a few people were walking around the food bars trying to find enough to put a meal together to eat inside the restaurant. There were also several people who purchased takeout meals that had a hard time putting a meal together on those small trays! Mr. Joseph (Joey) was very kind to our Family. He made our steaks perfectly and even walked them to our table and made sure everything was to our liking!!!! Ms. Destiney was very kind to us as well. She made sure our drinks were topped off and told us about the GC rewards program. Awesome experience!

Everyone who went here for wedding reception enjoyed the food. I absolutely loved the mashed potatoes and gravy. We all appreciated the service and wonderful people who helped when we didn't have what we needed. They were so lovely. I would recommend this place all over. Definitely would come here again for the food 😋
