Golden Corral Buffet & Grill

We had a party of 30 people who showed up over a 20 min time period. The person at the cash register was fantastic. The food was as expected for a Golden Corral buffet. The woman caring for our tables worked hard to make sure out plates were picked up and our drinks were full.

Golden Corral has always been a special place for me, ever since my Grandpa took me there every Saturday growing up in New Mexico.(back in the early 90s) Now living in Alabama, I was heartbroken when my local Golden Corral closed yeaaars ago. So, on a recent road trip to Columbia, I was beyond excited to stop at the Augusta, Georgia, location—and let me tell you, it exceeded all my expectations! This location has the biggest food selection I’ve ever seen at a Golden Corral. The yeast rolls, my absolute favorite, were perfection, but they didn’t stop there. They had regular biscuits, butter biscuits, and even cheddar bay biscuits like the ones from Red Lobster. It was biscuit and roll heaven! Disgusting smell from restroom. No cherry-tomatoes. Veggies are sliced in huge pieces. Fresh fruits are only melons.

They have great food. The waitress we had today was wonderful our glasses never got below half full, also she was the 1st waitress there that got my refill without ice! I REALLY WISH THAT Y'ALL WOULD GET MINI ORANGE SLICES BACK, They were my favorite I really really miss y'all's Mini Orange Slices. I really wish I knew where I could get the Mini Orange Slices.

❗️⚠️DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR HEALTH AT ALL⚠️❗️By far the worst experience I have EVER had at a restaurant. The dinning area smelled like the inside of a porter potty. I had a hair in my food. My son had a eye lash in his. None of the food was hot besides the mashed potatoes. We paid $48 for 2 buffets & 2 large drinks. I was told that the price went up last month. I think it instead of raising the prices they should figure out the terrible smell in the air ,and learn some sanitation skills. We had to leave to go somewhere else to get something edible. I went back ,and spoke to a manager about our experience who contacted the owner Joe who instructed her to give us a gift card so we could come back to eat at the porta potty establishment🚫 EAT HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
