I absolutely adore this place! Golden Bean Bakery & Cafe is my go-to spot for a delicious smoothie bowl, a buttered jalapeño & cheese bagel, or one of their many delicious drinks! I love going here and talking with my girls and order so much food, I don't need to eat the rest of the day!
DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE. They bake all their bagels, bread, and pastry here, and everything is fresh. We enjoyed talking with the friendly staff who greeted us with the warmest smiles. We actually stayed another day just so we could have an excuse to have another breakfast bagel sandwich.
It’s a cute little bakery. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I was a little disappointed in the limited options for backed goods. We got a muffin and bar. Portions were large but the flavor and quality was good but not great. Seating is limited and not geared toward larger groups.
Cafe was fine if you just need somewhere to grab food on a road trip. Mocha was basically bland, breakfast sandwich was fine but nothing special, thought the interior was uninteresting but not really my thing to theme a cafe on UMaine hockey. The folks inside were very nice and helpful though so full points for that!
Desserts are to-die for. So good. Staff was super friendly ❤️❤️❤️
