Gojo | Ethiopian Restaurant

Oh boy… where do I begin?… Took my family here to try something new and I wish we had just gotten happy meals instead. The food took over an hour to come out and it was not worth the wait. It came out cold like it’s been sitting there waiting longer than we were. The worst part of it all was when I had asked to speak to the manager she was so adamant about how it’s not that cold and that we were not waiting that long! Not even apologetic. How rude of the owner to infer that we were lying when the food was not even warm!

The beef sambusa is absolutely DIVINE! and the Beer was delicious 😋 I recommend the Bozena Shiro and the Veggie combination 🤤 The lamb and beef are well seasoned and the atmosphere is cozy, but one kick back is they are closed on tuesdays now! 😵 I found out by driving almost 2 hours to discover that 💔

It was just OK. We love Ethiopian food. These guys had all of the standard fare. The service was based because our waitress didn't speak much English. Eventually the manager had to come out to clarify our order. There are other better choices, we won't go back

I am, in any way, qualified to review the quality of Ethiopian food. This is only the fourth Ethiopian restaurant I've visited. The food tastes great! There are so many flavors and we were stuffed. I've never tried Ethiopian coffee before but I liked it. I can't say how it rates against other Ethiopian coffees but it had a wide variety of interesting flavors that rolled out after each sip. I loved it. The location is a bit old and run down, which is why I can't give it five stars. It is a tiny room with a bar on one side, a row of video slots on another wall, and a partition blocking a smoking room? Not sure. But, if you can get past that, the staff are friendly and the food is great. I really enjoyed my visit there.

This place was amazing my wife and I went just to try something different. When we entered didn't know what to think it looks like a bar, but then was created by Kola she was the hosted and the waitress and bartender. Quiet place, we didn't know what to get so Kola explained what was good and gave her recommendations. What she recommended was amazing. The food was great she was great. If we lived in town we would come back more often.
