Customer Reviews
Gojo Ethiopian Restaurant was a beautiful first introduction to Ethiopian food for us. We honestly had no idea what to expect, so we ordered the combo, and it turned out to be the perfect choice - a generous spread of many different dishes, all served on injera, letting us try a bit of everything. Every single item tasted good, rich, and comforting in its own way, and we genuinely enjoyed the experience from start to finish. The gentleman who attended us was kind-hearted, soft-spoken, and welcoming - he treated us warmly and even called us “friend,” which made the experience feel personal and sincere. The food presentation and the ambience were colorful and full of culture, with traditional decor that made the place feel alive and authentic. It wasn’t just a meal - it felt like sharing foo
The food at Gojo Ethiopian was very good – we tried the Gojo Combo, Meat Combo, Meat & Veggie Combo, and also ordered Doro Wot. Everything tasted authentic and flavorful. However, the service needs improvement. There was only one server for the whole restaurant, and we had to ask for basic things like water glasses. The portion sizes also felt too small for the price. For example, the Doro Wot was $14 but came with only one piece of chicken and one egg, which didn’t feel worth it. Overall, delicious food but service and portion sizes could be much better.
A restaurant with a truly interesting atmosphere, uniquely designed to offer an authentic Ethiopian experience. The food, prepared by an Ethiopian lady chef, had a genuine homemade taste rich in tradition and flavor. A wonderful place to visit and enjoy a memorable meal.
This place deserves more love! Stopped by for lunch on a Friday. The mixed veggie & meat platter was delicious and affordable - I stuffed myself and ate the whole thing by myself, but it was enough food for two people to split. The injeera bread in particular was perfect. The decor is really cool and our server was friendly.
Owner is super friendly! Felt welcomed Great customer service. First time here and we enjoyed our dinner, if you've never tried ethiopian food definitely come here the food tasted very authentic and you might like it!! We tried their honey wine it was super good 👌 Injera bread was delicious! Owner said his wife did all the cooking and she did really good! ☺️👍 My toddler is 2 years old and he loved the injera bread!! Toddler approved 👌😁
