Goin Coastal Seafood

Jessica was our server tonight and she was the best. Very friendly and welcoming right off the bat. She asked if it was our first time, which it was so she was happy to explain how the menu worked and the specials! My wife is not super big into seafood but we saw they had lobster so we figured we’d give it a shot because I love seafood. I’m glad we went out on a limb and tried this place as everything was spectacular. We started with the lobster Mac for the table and it was generously portioned and delicious. We both loved the taste of the Mac and the lobster inside along with the crunchy top. We then ordered the scallop risotto for me and the lobster for my wife. The scallops were wonderful with an amazing flavor. The risotto was very creamy however I couldn’t finish the whole plate :(. T

Loved it! Pleasant Anniversary dinner midweek with a very nice staff. Our waiter was excellent and made sure we knew the specials and answered all our menu questions. Wonderful dinner of shrimp n grits and fried shrimp. Recommend the lobster Mac as a side and crab-shrimp au gratin for a delicious appetizer. Will definitely repeat. Used the parking deck one block behind the restaurant. Easy walk.

Upon arrival the restaurant was very busy considering it was Valentine's Day weekend, but the vibe was great. The hostess checked us in and notified us at the bar once our table was ready. We were seated and Brooke was our server for the evening. She was fantastic and took good care of us. The shrimp cocktail was overcooked and the salmon toast was very good but the ciabatta bread was a bit thick for me. Our family style salad was absolutely delicious! Our entrées Blackened Corvina (CA) was very good. The sauce could use a little more spices. Mash potatoes was my chosen side, but they ran out. Instead I got hush puppies and they were yummy. Absolutely loved our experience at Going Coastal. The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care—exactly what you hope for from a great coastal seafood spot. Everything we ordered was spot on, from perfectly cooked seafood to well-balanced sides. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. You can tell this place takes pride in both the food and the experience. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a solid, enjoyable meal.
