Goebel’s Country Store

Brisket is absolutely incredible especially the sandwich, piled with sliced brisket sauce and onion. The Goebel's beans are very good with the bacon and sausage.

The food here was really fantastic. We got the brisket sandwich, pulled pork sandwich, bean tacos, and giant baked potato. The bbq was really flavorful and we liked that there was vegetarian options like the bean taco. We will definitely be back next time we’re in the area!

I have eaten a LOT of bbq across the country, including true Texas bbq in Texas and Goebel's is up there with some of the best I've ever had. I also smoke my own meats and am rather particular about how BBQ should be so for them to crush it like they did and impress me is a testament to their skills. We had Chopped Brisket plate, a pulled pork plate, a chopped brisket salad, mac salad, cowboy beans, their pork belly burnt ends and both the dark cherry chocolate cobbler as well as the banana pudding...Everything was fantastic. It was hot, fresh, and served quickly. Definitely a hidden gem!

Deciding on BBQ for my birthday dinner was the best thing I did today. I was so pleasantly surprised by how good the food at Goebel's Country Market is...ok, not good, pretty great. I ordered the beef brisket sandwich with a side of the seasoned green beans and a banana pudding. All my food was so tasty, so fresh, and simply delicious. I jokingly said that I hoped I wasn't disappointed because being from Texas, I know a bit about Texas BBQ. And the lady I was talking to, one of the owners, said she was from Texas as well. The staff was super great and friendly. Will definitely be back of I am ever back in Shady Cove.
