Godfather's Pizza Express

I grew up eating a lot of Godfather's pizzas in the 70's in the Kansas City area. They were the best pizzas around because all the ingredients were fresh and the pizzas were loaded! It's been quite a few years since I've had one, so I was looking forward to the one I purchased today from a Love's located in Texas. Overall the pizza was okay, but the ingredients were not fresh at all. The shocking part was the mushrooms were the rubbery ones from a can. There's a huge difference between canned mushrooms and fresh ones. I don't know if all locations use the same ingredients, but it may be several more years before I purchase another Godfather's pizza. I'm so disappointed.

Had a great experience with the ladies working their shift today. Super polite and swift service. My pie 🍕was delicious. I’d Mos Def do it again. So check em out if you’re ever in the neighborhood and Holla at a Playa. 👌🏾

I eat here pretty often, and it’s always good! The food is fresh, hot, and just what we expect every time. One of the employees is especially friendly and always brightens our day with great service. The place feels welcoming and comfortable—a solid go-to spot when we’re craving pizza done right.

Thought the pizza was great. They made it fresh for us and it was delicious! So glad this opened!!! Will be back for sure! Love how much cheese they use
