Glenn’s Cafe

Glenn’s, at its essence, was a wonderous discovery at the forever-developing hub of District Four and the city of Mableton. One might even call Glenn’s Café a unicorn, at two years old. Having discovered the eatery at summer’s start, I’ve been impressed by its “fusion of inclusion” theme and the nuances of its “well considered food” that are light and healthy. The simplicity of Glenn’s menu choices reflects the conscious spirit to nourish not just the body, but the soul, as well as satisfying the palate with complex flavors. We have been meaning to visit for a few weeks, and we finally went today. My goodness, that Million Dollar Chicken is I-N-C-R-E-D-I-B-L-E!!!! Their black beans are delicious, too. While I'm at it, the fresh hummus and olive spread were also amazing! We caught a glimpse of the famous Glenn but we weren't able to chat with him. He was very busy! Oh, in case you aren't sure if the "spicy" ingredients, they can accommodate your palate. My food was perfection. We even ordered more to go for tomorrow and for people at home! Amazing and kind owners. I'm hopeful that one day we all call each other by name like they did with the others who came to visit! One more quick note - be careful when you open your napkins with the silverware. We were delighted to see little notes on the inside.

This was such a lovely gem to stumble upon! The staff was wonderful and helpful at picking out things on the menu since this was our first. While we waited, we got to enjoy the lovely artwork on the walls, which was very creative and added a nice atmosphere. The owners were enthusiastic and checked in on us several times during our meal to make sure that we were happy. They also gave us a recipe that we could make with the delicious olive dip while we were there (can’t wait to try). My biggest regret about this place was not taking some of the olive dip with me to go! Highly recommend this place and can’t wait to get back.

Stopped in today for a quick snack. I googled restaurants near me with the best reviews, and this was the suggestion. I was in the area for training and on my break decided to go. What an amazing experience. This is a must try. Don't sleep on this place. You can thank me later.

(6) did i mention sensory friendly? low lights, low music, chill vibes, the coolest freaking art work, and in case you missed it, there’s a cafe library I don’t have an official dx for ASD but public places make my skin crawl like there’s a million ants running a marathon on my muscles, and this is one of the first places where I was in public and I just felt comfortable.
