Gitano Grill

Stopped in at Gitano Grill (1899 Highway 28 W, Taylorsville, MS), right between Soso and Taylorsville, and it did not disappoint! Owner Shannon Odom has put together a super friendly staff—Madison took my order and had it ready in no time. They’ve got a wide variety of menu items, plate lunches, and even cut fresh deli meats and cheeses. I had the plate lunch with hamburger steak, mashed potatoes, and green beans… absolutely fabulous! 10/10 recommend.

All I can say is wow! This is one awesome small town restaurant/grill. I was talking with a guy and he recommended the burger called 5 napkin, I added an egg, when they brought that monster out I was in awe. Very good food and a nice friendly service and homely atmosphere. We'll be back for sure. 3 thumbs up for Gitano Grill !!!

Ate lunch here and it was awesome! This chicken on a stick had potatoes, peppers, onions and dill pickles. In addition I ordered sweet potatoe fries. It was delicious and priced very affordable. There was an array of homemade deserts so I ordered a slice of carrot cake. It melted in my mouth! Upon checkout I inquired about purchasing cakes whole and they have awesome prices on this. Check them out!!!

Such a good burger! Awesome experience, I loved the entirety of it. Clean bathrooms. Nice people. Generous portions and very reasonably priced.... I felt too embarrassed to ask what the jar of peppers is for on the table... perhaps the locals knew and I didn't want to be an odd person.

Coconut cake from the Gitano grill the best I've ever eat the icing taste like divinity and it's so very moist. Everything they have is good from their desserts to their food.
