What an amazing place. My husband and I stopped for lunch on our 10 year anniversary and Jose was our waiter. We have had the frozen pizzas but not been to the actual restaurant as we are not from the area. What a gem great atmosphere, absolutely AMAZING food and even better service. Jose does an amazing job and is so knowledgeable. He informed us that you can order pizzas and have them frozen with a 24 notice. He answered all of our questions and was so attentive. If you go be sure to ask for Jose you won’t be disappointed!
Coming to Chicago from Los Angeles i had to try their deep dish pizzas. Highly recommend by a few people I came across was Gino's. The sauce had nice flavor. I was not a big fan of the crust flavoring. In my opinion I've had other deep dishes elsewhere where they were alittle more generous in the toppings. That's the only reason I could not give them 5 stars. As I paid $32 for a small pizza
Very attentive and friendly service, glad we got in around 1pm, because by 1:30 a lot more folks sat down. Lunch special personal size deep dish took around 20 minutes, up there with the best I’ve tasted. Sauce is well seasoned, crunchy biscuit like crust, and not as heavy as it looks, bottom gets a little soggy, but you don’t even mind because the whole bite together is so nice. Half of it is still a pretty good meal. The iron margarita is uniquely tasty, never had a marg with amaretto in it before.
Miguel was really chill and let us know the wait was 45 minutes for a deep dish pizza, although it came out sooner! He was very attentive and checked on us to make sure we were okay. Vegan cheese was definitely a win for the deep dish 🙌🏽
First time in chicago and having deep dish pizza. Menu was a bit overwhelming because I came alone and wanted to try different flavours. Gabby was a great server and recommended me to split my pizza into two. Both were delicious!
