Gina's Cafe windsor

On my way elsewhere I walked by this place and the people sitting out on the patio seats had really delicious looking coffees and it smelled good, so I had to go back after my errands were done to try. Glad I did! It has been a really long time since I've had a really good coffee. I ordered a pistachio cream frappe and you can taste the espresso added to it and it brings me back to having coffee with my nonno as a child. It's perfectly balanced between sweet and bitter. Very rich, deep flavor. The pastry tempted me as I waited for my coffee to be made, sitting on the counter on the tray. It was as flaky as it looked with a nice crunch and a light citrus custard in the middle. Reasonably priced! Gina’s cafe was a wonderful experience, me and my friend ended up sharing a pizza while drinking iced lattes :), service was nice and the atmosphere was so cozy and warm on a cold afternoon, couldn’t ask for anything better❤️

I bought a slice of Diplomatica cake and an antipasto board to go and both were delicious! Gina was also super kind and helpful! Love it here and I’ll definitely be back! 😍💕

Windsor has a lot of beautiful cafes, but my personal favourite is Gina's Cafe Nothing better than walking into a beautiful, cozy Italian cafe with such a rich history dating back to the 60’s when it was Sorrento’s. Gina and Cosimo are the husband and wife owners. Both very lovely, hard working people who have always greeted me in the nicest manner. Gina even took the time after a brief conversation to explain the history behind the location and the business itself. It was a lovely conversation to say the least. The desserts especially the almond biscotti is heavenly. The paninis and pizza are perfection to say the least.
