Gillmore's Cafe

Great food, price, and service. The waitress suggested the chicken dinner and cherry pie for desert. Everything was fantastic just like my grandma use to make. The owner came by to check on us. I highly suggested stopping in to this diamond in the rough. I know we will definitely stop back in when we travel that way again.

It's Keri's Kitchen now actually, and she is amazing! Delicious food, good service and a family run business, they take care of you! We always stop here after going to Lincoln's New Salem. Awesome spot. And obviously popular with the locals, it's always busy!

Of the few places to eat in Petersburg, IL this one is consistently consistent! Won't be the best food you've ever had, won't be the nicest place you've ever been. But the servers are good, honest, polite folks. Salt of the earth, exactly what I look forward to when I visit the in-laws in central IL. A place where manners and being a good neighbor are still more important than the car you drive or the size if your wallet. Try the pies too, the French silk is hard to forget.

First time there last night.Great fish and chicken. Loved the salad bar. Hubby had a Philly cheese steak sandwich.said it was pretty good. (Which usually he says it's alright meaning not impressed lol) Server was pleasant. They all were. It was clean. Hubby wants to try breakfast next.lol. thank you

RUDE waitress! After waiting forever to be spoken to, I was told to sit anywhere. Then I was informed that people were already sitting at my table, but all the other tables were dirty. They finally cleared me a spot and when I wanted to order off the menu I was basically told to eat the breakfast buffet or nothing at all. I relented and had the buffet food which was as old and unhealthly as it looked. This place got 2 stars because the biscuits were amazing and another waitress apologized to me for the bad service she witnessed me receiving.
