Gianorio's Deli

Cute little deli. I had the Italian sub since a friend recommended it. I grew up in Chicago a while ago (LOL) Im an oldie but a goodie, so I can remember the small neighborhood Italian sub stores of decades ago. The sub here did not disappoint. Lots of meat. Get it without the gardinara. Instead have them add the pepperacini (sp?). I didn't give them 5 stars simply because their Italian bread wasn't crisp and crusty. Otherwise, Mama Mia it's a good sub.

They are certainly not in a hurry here but everything we ordered was delicious. I liked that the meats had great flavor but light. Sometimes deli meat tastes almost fake. Not here. Ordered some ready made desserts to go for an office and they were pleased also.

I’ve been here a a handful of times for lunch, and it’s always good. Counter service has always been friendly, making you feel like a welcome customer. The cozy dining room has a neighborhood feel. I’ve always gotten a sandwich but soon need to try the soups or maybe a take n bake lasagna. Great place, even with the wonky parking.

Great, little lunch spot full of a variety of food options made fresh daily! My husband had tuna salad sandwich, I had 1/2 turkey sandwich & 1/2 garden salad—generous portions! Soup made fresh daily. Amazing desserts too! PSA: open 11A-3P TU, WED, FRI & SAT (Sat is dependent on staffing per owner—call first after 9am to get daily hrs etc) Please patronize this local business, it’s so deserving! And their pizza spot is top notch!!

Been going here for years. The staff and owner are great. Everything is delicious. Best food! From the sandwiches, daily homemade soups, desserts and many take out frozen items that are equally delicious. Have also ordered catering that is great for parties or meetings.
