We visited during the Christmas season and the restaurant was beautifully decorated for the holidays – it really added to the warm, festive atmosphere. Our dinner began with the artichoke Dijon appetizer – absolutely delicious! Warm, complimentary bread was served right away, and the service throughout the entire evening was truly outstanding – attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. For our entrées, we ordered the lasagna and the linguine de mare. I asked to substitute angel hair pasta for the linguine, and they were more than happy to accommodate. In fact, you can pair any pasta from the menu with any pasta dish – a nice touch! All dinner entrées come with your choice of a house salad or the soup of the day. We showed up at 1:00 in the afternoon on a Sunday. We gave them 15 minutes notice for a table of 11. They accommodated us. The pizza was absolutely delicious. The size was gigantic. Place was beautifully decorated for christmas. This is our new go to restaurant for pizza in Chicago!

Gianni's Italian Restaurant is a hidden gem near my house. It’s a bit tricky to find since it blends in with the surroundings, but once you discover it, you’ll love it. The food is delicious and authentic, and the customer service is fantastic—super welcoming and friendly. The restaurant itself is well-kept, clean, and has a cozy atmosphere. Definitely a great spot to try if you enjoy Italian cuisine!

Fantastic deep dish! It's got a less sweet sauce that I loved. Also a good chianti on offer. A table of ten older locals came in while my wife and I were having dinner and started shouting at each other in Italian. That's PRECISELY the vibe I want from my local Italian restaurant. Couldn't be happier!
