Ghezzi's

TLDR: having been here twice now, it is not worth themoney for mid level food at a place pace that wants to be higher level. If the value for money doesn't get you the poor cleaniness will. Food: Many different options are available and for the times I've been it is very hit or miss. I tried the shrimp scampi that had the sauce broken and way too garlicky, the blackened stack that was well underseasoned and the temperature was incorrect, the chicken marsala tasted off, but the chicken was good along with the mozzarella sticks. The pasta is clearly boxed and at the prices here you expect fresh made pasta. Lastly, we were charged 60 bucks for a steak when the menu said 48, it was not clear what prices were unless you read the fine print at the bottom. That and I guess there ended up being

Had a really nice experience. Staff was friendly, the service was efficient, and the food was delicious. Had cocktails at the bar prior to our reservation. They had a variety of drink specials, wine, beer, etc. This restaurant might look outdated, but who cares...the food and service make up for it!!

Ghezzi's was recommended to us by a couple of friends. It was my birthday and wanted to go some where nice so I made a reservation. Its an hour drive just for us to get there from where we live. The service was great and very prompt and the establishment is beautiful. The food however wasn't what we expected. The calamari was great but instantly after eating the clams casino me and my boyfriend both got sick. We couldn't even eat our main dishes. Also wasn't impressed with what we got for the price. $170 and we couldnt even eat it then I had to drive us an hour home sick as a dog.

Ghezzi's always delivers. Lively bar with robust conversation. People are friendly. Bartender, Bob, makes good cocktails. Dinner specials are carried and delicious.

We've been going to Ghezzi's since 1985. Do not trust any negative reviews. Those people simply don't appreciate excellent food. We consistently get great food including lots of seafood choices, steaks and of course Italian dishes. Service is super and attentive. We have traveled in Italy several times plus eaten at fine dining restaurants from Vancouver BC to Portland Maine and Ghezzis remains a favorite.
