Germantown Library

The staff in the upstairs customer service desks seemed pretty rude. I walked in to apply for a card and the lady goes “she can help you” in very stale tone and gestured to the woman next to her. This woman was very stale and blunt with me. Cmon, this is my first impression of you guys!! It makes me not even want to come back! I was just at the Walkersville Library near Frederick a few days ago and their staff is miles friendlier than the staff here. Here, they aren’t welcoming at all. The children’s area seems a little confusing, it doesn’t even seem like there’s a general kids area for kids to play together, it’s a closed door and it seems like it’s reserved??? I was expecting something more friendly and inviting for moms. I’ll give it 2 stars rather than 1 because it is a spacious libra

Many thanks for getting the book Personal Librarian to me in record time for my Book Club meeting. Despite it going to holding first and the holiday closing, I was able to get the book in a timely manner, thoroughly enjoy it and be prepared for my meeting! Thank you all! Prayer works!

This is a fantastic place. It's so organized & clean. Librarians are so helpful. Anyone can go to the library without any library card to study, work. Getting a library card is very easy, and one can take a book the right way, and the number is up to 100. Their book collections are promising.

Really nice library with a playroom to be booked in advanced. My littles loved it, and I felt happy knowing they were contained in one room.

A great place to read and to borrow books, DVDs and use their computers for searching. You can self checkout on ur own without asking staff on table. And if you can't find the book on shelves or having trouble, ask staff or just search on computer if its available there or you may found in another libriary. You can renew books and DVD,2-3 times online.
