Germantown Community Library

Wonderful oasis in the middle of Germantown. Their cookbook selection is worth noting. I like the ease of self-checkout and the level of quiet they are able to maintain in a use environment. They have a lot ofd community programming too.

Love this library. They also love kids and act like they expect kids to act like kids. Some of their programs get a little crazy, but nothing out of line. Instead of focusing on teaching kids how to be quiet in the library, they focus on teaching kids to move the library. They still remind kids to be quiet, but I'm glad that's not their main goal like at some other libraries I've been to

The Germantown Community Library is amazing. They offer a wide variety of outreach programs and volunteer opportunities along with their immense selection of books. There is also great work and study space.

I come nearly every day, and it is a lovely place to be. It can be a tad noisy at times, but it is quiet overall. There are so many nice places to sit, and the park right outside is nice too. 10/10 would recommend.
