Gerardo's Pizzeria

This small Italian spot was recommended to me, so I made a trip to Sedona to try it. The pizza was excellent and made fresh entirely in house with fermented sourdough. The pizza was light, not heavy (although a little soggy with the crust) and did not leave me bloated. I also tried the bolognese pasta which was fresh and flavorful also, however the pasta was a little undercooked. This is something to be aware of if you arrive at or near open. Service was great and the restaurant was friendly and inviting, although a bit generic. Overall this is a great stop for Italian if in Sedona.

This is hands down the best restaurant in Sedona, Arizona. We had the burrata pizza and a pasta bolognese that was on the specials menu, both were absolutely incredible. My husband said it was the best bolognese he's ever had in his life! We loved it so much, we came back the next day just to try the tiramisu and it did not disappoint. Gerardo, the owner, and his wife are truly lovely people. Highly recommend!

So fresh and authentic. We called in our order and they called when it was ready. The dough is sweet and crispy, the ingredients just tasted so fresh and the trifecta was such a unique treat. I loved their take on the Caesar salad. A little pricey and would definitely eat in- house next time so it’s hot but delicious nonetheless!

We had a great experience here. The service here is great. Shout out to Louis who was a great host. The pizza has so much flavor. Don't forget to try the dips here. The pasta with red sauce was amazing. Best red sauce pasta I have ever had. If you want to eat authentic Italian food with great service this is a the spot for you.

Best pizza and pasta we had since Italy vacation. Get here early and be prepared to wait for a table, but you will definitely be well rewarded. Great wine selection, home made desserts, overall just an outstanding dinner out! Grazie Gerardo and family!
