Gerard Farm

Chicken soup was so salty that I couldn't eat it. Potato salad had zero seasoning. But with that I added salt, pepper and thinly sliced red onion. Sandwiches were tasty. I added apple crisp and it was good. Overall, it did not make for a pleasant soup and sandwich luncheon I was having with guests. Disappointed.

Not sure what all the fuss is about, and I'm sorry to have to write this review. My son and I went here after finding the nearby well-rated Mae's sandwich shop closed for the day. Bought a turkey wheat wrap, a turkey sandwich, an apple crumb tart, and a small couscous salad. The wrap contained unremarkable tasting slices of turkey that looked straight from a deli, a bit of stuffing, a tiny squirt of cranberry something, and a tiny bit of mayo. The apple tart was mostly crust and crumb and almost no apples or taste. The couscous salad was decent, and I have not tried the sandwich yet. We will not be going back. The checkout woman was polite and helpful.

Add thanksgiving dinner to your every day. Gerard sandwiches are a staple, adding a slice of comfort and deliciousness to your boat or car ride, beach trip or dining table.

I love, love, love their “Thanksgiving Sandwiches!” My family and I always get them when we come to visit our grandparents each summer. If there is one thing to try at Gerard Farm, it is that!

This review is about turkey pickup. This business is disorganized. Order over the phone then get ready to wait over an hour in a line just to pick up your order. This business should have pickup windows to shorten the line, or get organized in a way that can streamline through the already known pickup volume. After cooking The Turkey, it ended up not being that good. I don't recommend this store for Turkeys.
