Geppetto's Café

So far one of the best Cafe I have visited since 10 years being in California. The reviews attracted my attention to visit it. The nice thing before entering the cafe, was the outside area. A beautiful green court in front and lots of trees that makes the street more beautiful and cooler and of course plenty of free street parking. I value service a lot, so My first expression was great, the barista was very energetic, respectful and kind enough to ask me right question to tailor the best type of coffee in terms of size, richness and sweetness of it with good suggestions. She also was kind enough to make a free good quality tea, because I said I am a tea person. By the way, The tea was out of this world. Got a smoothie and medium mint chip gelatto here. The lady who served me was super nice. She speaks Mandarin and we talked a bit about the history of the place. The atmosphere is very cute. Check it out if you’re ever in Orinda. Oh, and the gelatto and smoothie were very yummy.

The vibe is great, the service is great. The place is pristine, they deserve all the stars. I got the pastrami and though I was a little disappointed with the size, I get it, times are expensive. My only feedback to them would be about their Chai. they use a concentrate which is fine, but it is too sweet and not strong enough. I would recommend going back to the drawing board to make it more potent and less sweet please. Feedback from an Indian lol

We stopped in for some coffee and a bite and it was so yummy. We got the bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwiches with coffee and it all was so good. Jenny was so personable and very sweet.

Great place, no matter how busy they are they are always kind, the food is amazing with a homemade flavor. The staff is very patient with kids.
